Artwork preparation guidelines

Use the correct resolution.

Submit artwork at a minimum of 150 DPI at the final printing size. Increasing the DPI setting of a low-resolution image will not improve its actual quality. Higher-resolution originals are preferred.

Prepare files in sRGB.

Save artwork using the sRGB color profile. Colors displayed on screens can differ from the final printed result due to fabric, ink, and production processes.

Avoid semi-transparent designs.

Partially transparent elements may not reproduce consistently with direct-to-garment printing. Use solid colors or properly prepared halftone effects when possible.

Use transparency intentionally.

On dark garments, printed black ink may appear different because of the white underbase. Where appropriate, transparent areas can allow the garment color to become part of the artwork.

Avoid precise outer borders.

Thin borders and perfectly symmetrical outlines can emphasize small placement variations during garment printing. More flexible artwork usually produces better visual results.

Remove template guides.

If your artwork was created using a print template, remove all guide layers, measurements, and reference outlines before exporting the final file.

Important printing considerations

For DTG production, white ink is typically not printed on white garments. Light-colored ink on bright fabric may be affected by garment dye and curing. Minor variations in placement, fine lines, and symmetrical elements may occur during production. Because this bodysuit uses ribbed fabric, the printed design may also show small breaks when stretched.
